Off To Papua New Guinea

Hi everyone,

First off, I want to say that I haven't forgotten about you guys! I've been extremely busy with ministry back at base and found it very difficult to find time to blog. With the last couple of weeks, my team and I went over the subjects of biblical perspectives and world missions. During this time, we've also been preparing each day for our 6 weeks in PNG. Our preparation has consisted of disease awareness (Malaria, etc...), symptoms, treatments for other simple health issues, and evangelism preparation. I've been putting together and hour-plus sermon so I may be prepared when we arrive in PNG.

From what I know, our team will be visiting many villages around Kerema in the Western Gulf Province. During our visits, we will be putting on programs we have put together that include games, worship, preaching, and prayer. In addition. we will also be informing people about the ship tour that will be following in 2010. I know that during our six weeks, the Holy Spirit is going to use my team and I to make an impact that will change the lives of those we minister to, and use those we minister to, to change our lives as well.

Before i'm finished, I want to thank you for continuing to read my blog and support me. To all those who have been praying for me and finacially supporting me, I am so greatful. Because of your contribution, God has absolutely transformed me, giving me new direction in my life, and impacted those who don't know the love and truth of Jesus. If it weren't for you, I would not be where I am now, nor would I be reaching the lost. In other words, you are just as invloved in impacting the nations as I. Thank you, once again, and please continue to pray for my team and I as we venture into the mission God has placed before us in PNG.

If you haven't seen the video in my previous post, please watch it! It shows some of the areas I will be, and explains what my team and I are paving the way for.

Don't forget the way God cares for you, and continue to walk in the salvation of Jesus Christ,

Anthony Schuller

  1. Hello Anthony,

You sound so enthused and positive it is wonderful to read your post!

I look forward to learning a bit of what you experience and, from your previous Video, you will be experiencing a whole new world!

I am sure you are right that as much you and your team help, you will reap reward, in your body, your mind and your spirit. Such a venture cannot help but change everyone and so I know I will get some sense of the whole positive spirit.

Go knowing you are in the prayers of all who read your posts and feel your good heart, as do I.

    He is blessing you, Anthony.

    Jan-Michael (Toronto, Canada)

  5. Welcome home, Anthony!!!

You must be exhausted but exhilerated from your experiences!

Have a wonderful reunion with family and friends this holiday season.

I look forward to the New Year and reading your story(ies) after you have settled back into your routine. Or maybe you now will be itching to be off on another Mission?

Whatever, you looked happy and healthy of spirit in the photo Donna put on her blogspot.

With His Blessing, you are safely home for Christmas!...Jan-Michael
